Using a large background image on your website provides a new depth and impact on the user, as internet connections become faster and monitor resolutions increase it is more viable to use big background images for your website. I have collected not only websites using large background images, but also websites using illustrations and animations. Using big background images is not possible in every design project but when used in the right circumstance large background images can provide a great accompaniment to the website content.
