Using WordPress to power your photography website makes it incredibly easy to manage and create your website without the need to get stuck into code. You can take advantage of the plethora of free WordPress plugins to enhance your website functionality and of course, by opting to choose WordPress as your CMS of choice you get to select one of the many feature packed themes available to install on your website.
In many cases, a professional photographer is not a web designer and often not an expert coder either, in my opinion this is why I would consider WordPress as I viable CMS to power your photography. A majority of good web hosts allow you to install WordPress in under five minutes and have your theme installed at the click of a button.
The photography themes I have selected I chose purposefully, my main intention was to select WordPress themes that would be perfect for displaying a photographers collection of work in various formats such as galleries, portraits, landscapes and slide-shows. The selected WordPress themes are also responsive so your photos will look great on desktop screens and tiny screens such as your iPhone or iPad.
