  1. I know about Replicon’s hassle free timesheet software – http://www.replicon.com

It is pretty simple to use and quick to implement tool with lots of features. It can accessesed easily from anywhere, being cloud based.

  2. Been using “Billings Pro” for years and it’s rock solid. All the cloud based solutions are great in theory but way too costly in the long run. Being able to access your invoices any where is a silly notion that only has merit for a very small select of people. I have never had a situation where I didn’t have access to my invoices. In any case, Billings Pro has served me well and would highly recommend it.

  3. Basically anything that has a monthly rate is not an option for me. plus, I’d prefer to NOT have a solution that’s cloud based. Anything else out there?

    1. Hey Kofa,

I find using a cloud based solution is actually rather handy as I can login remotely anywhere in the world, on any device.

I also use FreeAgent, which does have a monthly charge. However the monthly charge is tiny compared to the time saved, hassel free accounting, no sleepless nights ect!

      Thanks,
      David.

  4. I personally love – Paymo partly because it is free and partly because of its simplicity. You would not have to waste your precious time to get the hang on it. It is super simple.

  5. Funding Gates is another good one. And free!

  6. Sage line 50 is my favourite accounting software. Its helped me to free up so much time and focus on building my business.

  7. Also check out Bodetree.com for a full suite of financial analytics for your business.

  8. A lot of overlap in this list here. It’d be more useful if you were to grab some other accounting apps that fill important gaps like ZenCash (www.zencash.com).

  9. I use Pancake App for invoicing and a photographer specific Excel file for tracking finances. If anyone else is going to use an Excel file, I recommend clearing it with your accountant first as I did.
