Working with icon fonts rather then image based icons has a ton of advantages. As Icon fonts are served as a font, rather then as an image you can use CSS to alter their appearance, rather then having to edit and image and re-upload it each time you want to make a change.

Using an icon font is a great time saving tool and is perfect for quick editing and use on retina displays, with this in mind I wanted to share a collection of 9 stunning, super handy icons fonts that I have used in various recent projects.
